Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Well this cold/bug whatever it is has been getting worse each day. I didn't feel it was a good idea to go into work on Friday, but if I didn't I would loose my job, so I went in. The day went by pretty fast, but I still felt very sick.

Friday night we had Hayleigh's Birthday party! Sadly not very many people showed up, but it was still fun. She loved the toy guitar that Sarah gave her. After Sarah's gift mine was very boring, just clothes. It was alot of fun.

Saturday & Sunday we just laid around the house, hoping to be back to health today since I have to work again. So not much exciting this weekend, just a houseful of sick people.

Warning: More Venting!

Well I know I haven't posted anything since Thursday. Things did get worse on Thursday night though. Some family friends came over that night & decided to bring there dog with them. Well that wasn't the problem, but they decided to just let him run free & do what ever he pleased. He ended up attacking Provo, not a good idea since I'm VERY, VERY protective of my pups. To make things worse they didn't try to stop him, they didn't apologize, all they said was "he is very protective of Samantha". So my poor boy spent the night tied out to my truck. Since it wasn't actually my house I couldn't do anything about the dog being allowed to run loose, especially since in this house you don't discipline other peoples dogs. So I was very concerned about my boy outside so most of the night was spent out with him. Everyone was mad at me for over reacting, which just pissed me off more!

Must Vent!

Well today has been a pretty crappy day so far, even though it just started. So for some reason I couldn't sleep last night so I only got about three hours of sleep. My stomach has been bothering me this morning, but I still have to do all my normal chores. Since one of my goats is going to be having babies in two weeks or so I had to separate her from everyone else. So I took her & her mother over to another pen. In the process of trying to only get the two goats, not all 5 of them out I sliced my finger open. It was bleeding really bad & there was blood everywhere. My poor goats now have blood all over them. I hadn't fed my goats yet, so I still had to throw hay to both pens of goats, in the process getting hay in my cut. To make things worse when I came in the dog bit it hard! The other puppy also bit it, but didn't cause damage like the other one. It has been over 2 hours & it is still bleeding!

Then some how I broke my tooth this morning! It hurts really bad & there is nothing I can do about it.

Sorry that this is all venting, but not much good is happening right now.

Blah....

Well I'm sick so I don't really feel like doing anything. I still have to work tonight though. They actually called me this morning asking if I would come in at 8! Even though I am supposed to work from 4-Close tonight. Oh yeah, since I lost my glasses I can't drive after dark, so it makes working nights very difficult. Even though I talked to her she still is scheduling me for nights!

Friday I get to do a Guide Dog demonstrations! I haven't done one since June of last year, so hopefully I'm not to rusty. Provo will be happy to get to interact with the kids though.

State Fair

Well I went to State Fair again today, this time with Mom & Hayleigh. We had so much fun petting the animals most of the time. I also got Hayleigh to play in the water fountain too! We were sopping wet by the time I finally said no more, even though she wanted more. We got some cute pics, but they are on dad's camera so I have to get them from him first. We also enjoyed some yummy shakes from the dairy bar, they have the best shakes ever!

Here is a cute pic of Hayleigh with one of the puppies at the petting zoo & looking at the cute piglet.

Boring....

Well this weekend Megs is up in the Springs with our brother Josh & his family. Things around here are pretty boring with out her here. I'm taking care of some friends horses again this weekend. My truck better not break down before church again cause I'm NOT walking to church again. Once is enough.

So last night I went over to my friend Sarah's house for dinner. I took Hayleigh over with me to give mom a break, since she needed one real bad. We actually got there before Sarah did. We had pepper steak for dinner, it was pretty good. Hayleigh had fun playing with the blocks, she did good picking out only one color at a time. Her favorite part though was destroying our towers we made.

Today I started with the horse care. It isn't to bad, except I never can get the door closed. Then to make things even harder it was raining tonight while I was trying to feed. Atleast Daisy won't be getting out like last time!

Well Megs party is coming right up so I went shopping for her tonight. I'm not sure yet what to get her, many options to choose from. She is so excited since this is her Sweet 16. I'm pretty excited for her too!

Sorry....

Well, to no surprise, I haven't updated my blog for quite some time. Of course not much has happened since then. My truck has been acting up & I had to walk 2 miles to church on Sunday! It sucked big time, especially since I either had to walk barefooted or in my heels. Poor Megan was with me to & had the same problem. We survived though. We were late for church, but we made it.

Monday I had to work & then in the evening we had family night. This week we went bowling in Florence! It was so much fun, even though I was in pain after the first game. It was really cute watching Hayleigh try to bowl too.

Tuesday & Wednesday I had the two days off work. On Tuesday I went out to the State Fair with my father & cousin. My father was in a BBQ contest, he won first out of two. He wants to teach me so I can compete next year, but I really don't want to.

On Wednesday they called me & wanted me to go into work, I had some things I needed to get done so I said no. Now I'm regretting it, since I need all the hours I can get. Megan & I ran some errands today, but otherwise we just hung out at the house.

Thursday was a very stressful day for me. I was freaking out since my paycheck was so small I can't apy all my bills, ect, ect. Then I had to work from 12-5. It was an insane day & the time passed quickly since I really didn't have time to just stand around. I was in a lot of pain with my foot & my throat is pretty soar to. The first thing I saw when I got home was that Sarah's car was parked in my spot. Megan came bouncing out of the house so excited since we were going to youth group with Sarah. I didn't really feel up to going, but I changed real fast & we left. It was pretty good, a few things happened that I'm not going into on here, but all in all it wasn't to bad.

Friday, well today I haven't really done anything, but type this up. I have to work again from 12-5 today. Then tonight Megan will be leaving to spend the weekend at Josh, our brother's, house. I will be taking care of horses again this weekend. So a little extra cash in my pocket.

Intro

Hi, for those who don't know me, my name is Michelle. I'm from a small town in Colorado named Penrose. I love animals, I raise Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats. I also used to raise guide dogs for the blind & my last one, Provo, came home as a pet after deciding guiding wasn't for him.

I currently live with my best friend Megan & her family, which I now claim as my 2nd family. We have four dogs, yes I said four. Provo who is a three year old Black Lab. Sherrianna, Megan's dog, who is a six year old Lab/Aussie mix. Then Mia, my sisters dog, is a six month old Lab/Aussie mix. Then the little & youngest of all, Little Bit (AKA Mouse), mom's pup, who is a five month old Chiweanie (Chihuahua/Dachshunds mix) . I'm not real fond of little dogs, but she is pretty cute. So as you can see the house is a little crazy. Included in the critter department we have cats (with two litters on the ground), goats, mini horses, llamas and chickens.

So I will try to keep this blog updated for the few people that read it, but am not always the best.

Michelle
